A page dedicated to Peace for the world.

After my arrival in Hiroshima I went to the Peace park over there I could see and read what the A-Bomb did. I know it made an end to the war with the Japanese. But being at the actual place where it happened I was shocked and upset. The hospital where the Bomb exploded  was still standing, but ruined. Then reading all the signs telling about that time, made me sad and made me realize the times the Japanese people had to go trough . The dead toll was over 200.000 people. So the next day I went out there again and was having at least a steady hand for taking pictures. Please read the signs as well because it makes you realize that freedom did, not come with out costs. I started early so after that I could take a boat trip to Miyajima. Over there is the worlds best known shrine standing in the water as a memory of the day the first A-Bomb was used. So the rest with out words only with the pictures. Take your mouse and go over them, taht will show you my thoughts.
